Sushi packaging is usually unnecessary bulky, including a plastic 'window' through which the contents can be seen. These types of packaging are a huge burden for the environment. For this assignment I set as goal to design an attractive sushi packaging without using plastic windows or glue. By making use of origami elements, I eliminated the use of glue.
A Japanese fish refers to the contents of the packaging. The chopsticks are incorporated in the design and function as a handle. The packaging can be folded by hand, eliminating the use of glue. Flat transportation is also enabled by this.
